Carlsbad is a coastal city in the North County region of San Diego County. The city is 87 miles (140 km) south of downtown Los Angeles and 35 miles (56 km) north of downtown San Diego. Carlsbad is a popular tourist destination and notable home for many businesses in the golf industry.

Located in the northern part of San Diego County, Carlsbad is not a big city by any means, with only 150,000 residents. However, lovely weather and gorgeous beaches make it a top-rated tourist attraction.
